Mr Daniel Yeo New Dawn Learning Studio Founder & Head of Math Department
Mr Daniel has been teaching Math, both Secondary Math and H2 Math, for more than 10 years.
Math has always been his passion and he strongly believes in specialisation. Thus, Math is his focus, and he excels in it. Another strength he brings forth is his belief in painstakingly doing his own notes for his students, sheet by sheet, worked example, tip by tip by tip- totally comprehensive! It is his steadfast passion that a good lecturer can only deliver effectively when he walks through every step that students take. Solving Mathematical problems must be a piece of cake to any Math tutor but what differentiate Mr Daniel from the mass is that he delivers patiently and systematically without skipping a step, the Math concepts and solutions, so as to ensure that every student can grasp and understand the fundamentals at their pace before delving in depth. And when students gain confidence, especially the weaker ones, they will feel motivated to learn further, and excel. This is the essence of Mr Daniel’s teaching methodology and belief.

Mr Toh has been teaching Math and Physics, both at a Primary and Secondary level for more than 8 years.
Math and Physics have always been his strong suit and passion as he believes that they are crucial in boosting our analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and it also piqued our curiousity about everyday life. His passion for teaching these subjects stems from a desire to share knowledge, inspire others, and help students develop their own critical thinking abilities. Teaching allows you to foster a love for learning and empower others to grasp complex concepts, which can be incredibly fulfilling.
Mr Toh always believe that complex problems are like stacking lego building, a strong foundation is always required or else it will crumble down, hence the same approach of teaching can't work for every student. As such, he believes to always deliver the students' teaching at a flexible pace depending on their level, sort of like a gradient line y=mx+c (steeper for some and less steep for some but never negative oops). Flexibility and Systematic thinking forms the core values of Mr Toh's teaching methodology.
Other than Math and Science, Mr Toh also has interests outside of work such as Hip Hop dance, Photography, Badminton and Bouldering.
