New Dawn Learning Studio
Founded in 2015, New Dawn Learning Studio is a MOE registered tuition center that specializes in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for Sec and JC Level.
New Dawn Learning Studio adopts an open concept design to challenge the current tutoring landscape and break the barriers between students and tutors.
We seek to be more than a commercial entity and bring a difference to the tutoring landscape. Students can enjoy the facilities, feel confident to ask questions, and learn independently in a comfortable environment. Students of New Dawn Learning Studio go beyond studying and rekindle their desire to learn under our wings.
The centre is spilt into mainly two parts, the pods area and the classrooms with glass walls. The pods will facilitate the students’ independent learning where they get to study at their own pace and take breaks when necessary. There is also a library to allow students to be proactive in sourcing for materials such as numerous assessment books that they need to aid their learning. We continually seek to upgrade our facilities to provide a high conducive and comfortable environment where our students can learn best in. Our deep care and concern for our students is reflected in our constant renewal of the interior design of the centre. We aim to make New Dawn Learning Studio second home to students who join the classes, where they can feel at ease and become confident individuals. Even though there are already many tuition centres out there that deliver Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics tuition classes, we hope to distinguish ourselves as a centre that makes students feel like they belong and eventually take ownership of their learning. Mr Daniel Yeo

Mr Daniel has been teaching Math, both Secondary Math and H2 Math, for more than 10 years.
Math has always been his passion and he strongly believes in specialization. Thus, Math is his focus, and he excels in it. Another strength he brings forth is his belief in painstakingly doing his own notes for his students, sheet by sheet, worked example by worked example, tip by tip - totally comprehensive! It is his steadfast passion that a good lecturer can only deliver effectively when he walks through every step that students take. Solving Mathematical problems must be a piece of cake to any Math tutor but what differentiate Mr Daniel from the mass is that he delivers patiently and systematically without skipping a step, the Math concepts and solutions, so as to ensure that every student can grasp and understand the fundamentals at their pace before delving in depth. And when students gain confidence, especially the weaker ones, they will feel motivated to learn further, and excel. This is the essence of Mr Daniel's teaching methodology and belief.
Mr Joseph Lee

Mr Joseph is passionate about Chemistry and Physics and has been teaching for more than 12 years. He specialises in upper-Secondary and H2 Chemistry and Physics. His experience is apparent in his thorough, yet concise concept maps and notes designed specifically for his students that will enhance their understanding and help them retain content in the long run. What distinguishes Mr Joseph from other Chemistry and Physics tutor is that he is meticulous in sorting out higher-order thinking questions according to topics and difficulty. This is so that the students' practices will be more structured and efficient. Every question chosen, is with a purpose in mind, from deepening the students' understanding, to exposing them to different permutations of questions from a single topic, in order to better equip them for examinations. Mr Joseph is often described by his students as a patient tutor who has a heart for his students. This will help students also learn better when they are comfortable to ask the tutor questions and less afraid to make mistakes in classes. Students will surely excel in Chemistry and Physics under the guidance of Mr Joseph.
Mr Toh
Mr Zand Toh NUS Business (Hon), Spec: Business Analytics and Finance (Distinction)
Mr Toh has been teaching Math and Physics, both at a Primary and Secondary level for more than 8 years.
Math and Physics have always been his strong suit and passion as he believes that they are crucial in boosting our analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and it also piqued our curiousity about everyday life. His passion for teaching these subjects stems from a desire to share knowledge, inspire others, and help students develop their own critical thinking abilities. Teaching allows you to foster a love for learning and empower others to grasp complex concepts, which can be incredibly fulfilling.
Mr Toh always believe that complex problems are like stacking lego building, a strong foundation is always required or else it will crumble down, hence the same approach of teaching can't work for every student. As such, he believes to always deliver the students' teaching at a flexible pace depending on their level, sort of like a gradient line y=mx+c (steeper for some and less steep for some but never negative oops). Flexibility and Systematic thinking forms the core values of Mr Toh's teaching methodology.
Other than Math and Science, Mr Toh also has interests outside of work such as Hip Hop dance, Photography, Badminton and Bouldering.
Ms Teo
With passion and curiosity for Science from a young age, Ms Teo is intrigued by the presence of Science around her. She enjoys exploring the explanations to scientific discoveries, and believes in the importance of having a strong foundational understanding towards Science.
Ms Teo seeks to instill the same interest she has in her students. Her aim is to create a comfortable learning environment for her students, allowing them to explore and freely raise questions during class to clarify their doubts. She desires to build their confidence in tackling even the most challenging scientific concepts and practice questions.
Ms Teo aspires to nurture her students into critical thinkers who view the world with curiosity and passion to discover the scientific explanations to the many interesting phenomena in the world. She also believes that having a strong knowledge in Science will allow students to train their cognitive capabilities for future endeavours in many fields, due to the critical thinking and problem-solving skills instilled in them from the practice of Science.
Miss Tan
Miss Tan has always been passionate about the Sciences since her schooling days. And for this reason, she specializes in secondary school sciences – hoping to make the sciences a fun and easy to comprehend subject for her students.
Her teaching philosophy is simple – The possibilities are endless when you have the tools you need to learn.
That is why her students are equipped with all sorts of “tools”! From detailed notes, compilations of past exam paper questions, step-by-step breakdown of topics, topical summaries, and more to help them grasp even the most complex science topics.
In her small group classes, she strives to create an enjoyable, supportive, and enabling learning environment where students are encouraged to clarify their doubts and motivate each other in their learning journey together.
